This report focuses on recruitment to military forces in Syria's Hasakah Governorate. This includes the Mandatory Self-Defence Duty, recruitment to the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), recruitment to the military wing of Kurdistan Worker's Party (PKK) as well as military service in the Syrian Arab Army (SAA).
